Having bought our first home when I was twenty-three years old, I have enjoyed and benefited from a lifetime of learning home maintenance by doing it myself.  Motivated by my love of solving problems, I have learned to be a "Jack of all trades".   It has also been my goal to "do it right" the first time so as not to revisit the same problem twice.

After leaving the corporate business world as an investment advisor in financial services, I transitioned to being "semi-retired". And, to stay physically active, I pursued my love of home maintenance by creating  Home Maintenance Services  (HMS Omaha) with the intent of helping other homeowners.   I also enjoy helping senior clients who wish to remain in the comfort and security of their home, but simply need help maintaining it, and adapting the home to their needs. 

Without the burden of franchise fees, buildings, decorated trucks, and other overhead costs common to many larger service providers, I can afford to charge less for my services without lowering the quality of workmanship.
